The engineers at Design Advantage utilize project management software and planning techniques on every project we do. By integrating project management activities into the project, we are able to monitor and ensure not only that drawings are released on schedule, but that long-lead parts are designed and considered first so that the prototype and pilot builds can begin on schedule. We follow up to make sure parts are on schedule for delivery and monitor scheduling information on a continual basis. This process allows us to recognize opportunities to work ahead and identify parallel paths that will allow the project to be completed ahead of schedule.

As an additional service, our project managers can ensure that the aspects of your project beyond design and testing are scheduled and handled in a seamless manner. This level of service allows you and your internal staff to work productively on other tasks without the concern of coordinating the day-to-day activities that are key to keeping the project on track. You may wonder if an outside firm can handle project management as well as you can internally. We have found that in many instances, it is a natural progression for our design/management team to handle project management activities due to our intimate involvement with the other aspects of the project.
